Spitalfields
Take a stroll down Toynbee Street and you may see the official Jack the Ripper Tour in motion. Look closer and you’ll notice Jack’s first store, his first step to repenting his Great Grandfather’s gruesome deeds. This location was a barbershop in 1888 and there is a theory that the Ripper sharpened his skills at this premises. This shop is at the heart of Jack’s story; the roots of his family tree are reddened here with a bloody stain which this part of London is still recovering from.
